Map My Tracks: ride run walk App Reviews

This used to be a good app. As the previous reviewer states, it does not track accurately most of the time. If you want a tracker, dont waste your time or money here. Look elsewhere.

Ive been very disappointed with this app. It never gives an accurate summation of my walks at the end of the week. I generally walk about 21 miles a week, and it all always list me as walking about half that. And many times I get to the end of my walk, and it has not even worked. And as one commenter stated, it doesnt even shut down after Ive completely turned off, and I find it still running the next day, which throws off all of my records. Very disappointing, because when I first got the app it was great! But not so anymore. Ill see how it works after this upgrade, but if it doesnt get any better Ill be looking for a new app.

For some reason this stops working. To restart I have to press the stop button, then pause, then start. Since The phone is usually in my shirt pocket or somewhere else out of sight, I usually dont notice it until I am done rendering the results useless.

I use this app to map my racing circuits so people will race me. I want people to challenge my set time i lay down on these tracks... They are not illegal for i have asked permission from the people living on the streets. Challenge me, unless your scared, of course.

As an equestrian I ride my horses many, many miles per week through preserves and farm lands all over the northeast. Ive tried many of the tracking apps other equestrians use for tracking their rides for mileage and speed (and to avoid getting lost) but so far this apps best serves the purpose. Even more so than the apps specifically designed for cross-country riding. I strongly suggest that the developers promote this app to equestrians because the market is starving for a solution and I think this app is it.

I like the app but I would like to be able to print out the route that I have walked without having to go through Facebook or Twitter. I havent found any way to do it.

Took a long walk. Came back, saw the rout, distance, time. Pretty awesome. Clicked end to stop tracking. The entire file was deleted. No record of the walk at all. It does this about 1/3 of the time, but I had just used it for entertainment. Its a new year and Im trying to start exercising and keeping track more often. 1st one deleted? Not a good start. Enough! Not worth the frustration. Absolute garbage.

The help docs tell me to push buttons that dont exist and their support team ( if there is one ) never answers emails. Great app if you just want to track your route. But all the extra stuff dont work and their support is nonexistent. Id give zero stars if it was an option.

Ive been using this for endurance ocean SUP paddling!! Love it! Fits my basic needs without getting too technical!! 5 stars!!

Captures and reports all vital information about your activity. Good to see how you did and keep you motivated.

I have tried other running or walking apps. But this app is well designed and very useful. I use it everyday for my daily walk or run.

Its just so great to see how Im doing while running. Even without the Premium version, Im finding it extremely useful. If you are the athletic type and might use this often, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend paying for Premium.

I use this app to keep up with all my horse rides..it works everywhere I go even in places with very poor signal

This app is constantly deleting my routes. Very disappointing after a long run to hit stop and watch it disappear.
